Simina Popescu is an author, illustrator and cartoonist from (and momentarily based in) Bucharest, Romania.

Very into storytelling, queer theory, and inclusive representation, she received a BA in Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, and subsequently pursued Continuing Education classes at the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Simina lives with a moody cat named Fredi, has an obsession for chevron flooring apartments and currently spends most of her time in one, working on her debut queer YA graphic novel, LEAP. She needs vast amounts of coffee to balance out her second pet, a stubborn insomnia, and assume the role of a morning person every day.
